1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
- Preheat the oven to 325.
- Use a mixer to combine the butter with the sugars until creamy.
- Add peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla and mix until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt to moist ingredients. Mix the dought until it is smooth and well blended.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Press the dough flat with a fork.
- Bake 15 minutes or until edges of the cookes begin to turn light brown.
